Registration is now in progress for the Classrooms for the Future professional development training 21st Century Teaching & Learning Series.
Six regional training sessions have been set up across the state for the beginning phase of the secondary reform initiative through the CFF Program through the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The trainings begin on Wednesday, February 7 at the East Harrisburg Holiday Inn and conclude March 6 at Berks Intermediate Unit 14.
The training sessions are going to provide the tools and resources to implement the series district wide, and discuss free district usage of the eMBEDDED LEARNING Academy online professional development course series. The training will help districts utilize the Learning Management System to aid in the implementation planning of districts to integrate the courses into their own professional development.
CFF Program Manger, Holly Jobe, will be on hand at the February 7, training to answer questions from districts. The day’s agenda will help district representative understand the responsibilities associated with the professional development requirement associated with the CFF grant. Wilkes University Graduate Education TLIC/ECL Program Coordinator, Kathleen C. Makuch, Ed. D., will be on hand to provide information about the graduate credit available to teachers.
